Urban Peace Institute is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to end gun violence and youth incarceration and promote community safety in Black and Brown communities through community organizing and policy. I’ve collaborated with the Los Angeles Violence Intervention Coalition and the Los Angeles Youth Uprising Coalition.

As a Development and Communications Associate, I produced a new Vodcast highlighting the stories of gang intervention workers, spearheaded communication strategies that contributed to the secure of $45M in funding and managed an individual and major donor database.
